Farm Renovation in County Dublin

We were approached in late 2019 with a great potential project in County Dublin, Ireland. Our client had inherited an old farm house and collection of outbuildings on a 3-acre site in the Irish countryside. The house itself is included on the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage, but in the client’s words, the whole site was looking a “bit tired, drab and depressed.”

Our client had so many ideas that he didn’t know where to start, so came to us for some much needed guidance and inspiration. We started with an initial masterplan brief document to explore ideas and provide an overall vision for the site and have since carried the design through the concept and developed design phases to get ready to submit for planning. It’s been great fun learning about the local heritage of an area outside of our locality and helping our client bring his ideas together from a distance!
